Classic Damascus steel wedding rings, polished vortex layers on the outside.

The first products made of Damascus steel, according to various sources date from III - IV BC. They were made in India. They were billets of steel cast in such a way that crystallization took place in the layers - one soft and the other hard. The blanks were transported to Damascus - hence the name of the steel - where forged weapons characterized by high hardness and high elasticity were made. With time, the supply of steel ingots from India began to disappear. Unable to recreate Indian technology, in Damascus, they began to produce steel with similar properties. By forging two different steel grades – not casting - it was called damast. In Russia, such material was called scimitar. The old Indian technology was not restored until 2007 in the United States. At present, most products are made of damast - although it is commonly called Damascus steel. The rings we offer are made of damast forged from two types of surgical steel. They are stainless, resistant to acid and alkali, and they are anti-allergic. They come in three different layers: "waves"- successive layers in cross section are parallel to each other, "vertebrae" form concentric layers and "vortices" form irregularly. Inside the rings, we engrave any text in one of many typefaces, we can also engrave various drawings, handwriting, etc. If there is enough space, we engrave texts of any length. Remember, the longer the text, the smaller the letters will be. All our rings have a minimum thickness of 1.3mm. This thickness guarantees good strength of the rings and is comfortable to wear. Damast wedding rings can have stripes of different coloured gold or palladium. They can also be on the sides and from the inside with other precious metals. All types of damast rings have fixed prices regardless of size. The price is for a pair of rings made of damascus steel. It is constant, the price increase is affected, e.g. by adding gold, palladium more prints or stones.
